Butterscotch 0.8%, Diacetyl Detection more than 100 ppm - An immediate stop sale and stop production of Butterscotch was initiated. The flavouring that was used was sold by Flavor West. The Butterscotch Flavouring on their webpage had a statement that all of their flavours were Diacetyl (2,3-Butanedione) Free. Obviously, it is not. Upon contacting them about the issue, they removed the statement on their website, for that product. This flavour has been discontinued.The pages of the report showing these results are below:
